I went to my OB today for my 33 week appointment. All is well and I'm excited to be nearing the end.
It is also Joseph Cooper's 7 year old birthday today. We went to see the movie Ice Age 3. The kids thought it was the best one. I fell asleep through the middle! Oops! Luckily, it was dark in there. Here is a picture of him when he was 3 and a half. Joseph is my only child that chose his own birthday. My water broke on its own 18 days before my due date. He came out a healthy 8 pounds. I remember when we were deciding on what to name him, Jared and I were sitting in my post-partum room discussing it. None of the names seemed to fit him. And right as the nurse was about to come in and collect all the paper work from us, I said, 'What about Joseph?' And Jared said, 'Joseph. That's it!" And right at that moment the Holy Ghost filled the room. I asked Jared if he felt it. He said he felt it too. It was such a special experience that I will never forget.
If you ask Joseph what his favorite memory of what it was like when I was pregnant with him he will tell you the story of how I burped and burped and burped his whole pregnancy long. And these weren't just little belches. These would impress Vance, for those of you who have ever heard Vance burp. Joseph loves that he did that to his mom!

While we were waiting for it to get dark for fireworks on the fourth of July, we took pictures. We had a blast! And that white shirt I'm wearing fit just fine a week ago! Ugh! Not anymore!! I don't know why I'm so upset with a growing belly this time around. We are thinking of naming the little guy Bruce Robert Bott. The kids really didn't like it at first, but are slowly changing their minds. Last night Rex came into the living room where I was sitting with a glass of water. He said to me, "Mom does Bruce need a drink of water?" I said, "Yes, he does." Rex said, "Only drink a little." So, I proceeded to drink the whole thing, and handed an empty cup back to Rex and said, "Bruce needed the whole thing." Rex nodded his head in agreement and said, "uh huh." It was so sweet. He is already taking such good care of his new little brother.

I knew it would happen, and it did! I popped out and I'm getting huge! I don't know how I'm going to be able to stand 10 more weeks of this constant enlargement. The bottom picture is of 28 weeks, and only 1 week later the white shirt pictures is of 29 weeks. Yikes!!
