For Joseph's birthday party, we had one of the neighborhood boys come. He brought a pinata as his gift. We had a blast. He came for Eric's too... I can't find the pics we took of Eric's birthday party:(

I went to my OB today for my 33 week appointment. All is well and I'm excited to be nearing the end.
It is also Joseph Cooper's 7 year old birthday today. We went to see the movie Ice Age 3. The kids thought it was the best one. I fell asleep through the middle! Oops! Luckily, it was dark in there. Here is a picture of him when he was 3 and a half. Joseph is my only child that chose his own birthday. My water broke on its own 18 days before my due date. He came out a healthy 8 pounds. I remember when we were deciding on what to name him, Jared and I were sitting in my post-partum room discussing it. None of the names seemed to fit him. And right as the nurse was about to come in and collect all the paper work from us, I said, 'What about Joseph?' And Jared said, 'Joseph. That's it!" And right at that moment the Holy Ghost filled the room. I asked Jared if he felt it. He said he felt it too. It was such a special experience that I will never forget.
If you ask Joseph what his favorite memory of what it was like when I was pregnant with him he will tell you the story of how I burped and burped and burped his whole pregnancy long. And these weren't just little belches. These would impress Vance, for those of you who have ever heard Vance burp. Joseph loves that he did that to his mom!

While we were waiting for it to get dark for fireworks on the fourth of July, we took pictures. We had a blast! And that white shirt I'm wearing fit just fine a week ago! Ugh! Not anymore!! I don't know why I'm so upset with a growing belly this time around. We are thinking of naming the little guy Bruce Robert Bott. The kids really didn't like it at first, but are slowly changing their minds. Last night Rex came into the living room where I was sitting with a glass of water. He said to me, "Mom does Bruce need a drink of water?" I said, "Yes, he does." Rex said, "Only drink a little." So, I proceeded to drink the whole thing, and handed an empty cup back to Rex and said, "Bruce needed the whole thing." Rex nodded his head in agreement and said, "uh huh." It was so sweet. He is already taking such good care of his new little brother.

I knew it would happen, and it did! I popped out and I'm getting huge! I don't know how I'm going to be able to stand 10 more weeks of this constant enlargement. The bottom picture is of 28 weeks, and only 1 week later the white shirt pictures is of 29 weeks. Yikes!!

Our family democratically voted to buy season passes to Lagoon this year instead of going on a family vacation to California (it was unanimous.) We have already been 4 times. Definately worth the money! We have been loving it.

27 weeks along in my pj's. And true to Rex's pregnancy, I haven't gained any weight so far. My regular pants still fit just fine. That'll probably change in the next month though. I'm really starting to pop out now.

The kids spend hours in the basement being creative with these home made blocks. (cut 2x4 blocks) And the other picture is the kids on the kitchen floor watching a movie on computer.

Jared took us camping 3 weeks ago. I am 25 weeks pregnant here and Jared was ever so kind and brought an extra single matress for me to sleep on in the tent. It was great! We found the perfect spot up Logan Canyon.

Rex in his carseat. We were on our way to the pinewood derby!

Just some pics of our cute family!

Eric and Joseph played soccer this year. Jared and I were Joseph's coaches too.

Vanessa got her ears pierced for her 10 year old birthday present. She asked her best friend Rachel to get them pierced with her. So, off we all went to the mall to get their ears pierced.

This is our first pinewood derby. Eric's car won for the most expensive weights. He had $2.50 in quarters on the bottom to make the car go faster.

Jared's brother and his kids came up for Easter. The kids had a great time while the adults relaxed on the couches.
Three strong boys showing off their muscles! They are looking forward to having their dads' guns (biceps)!!

This year Vanessa played the violin in the school orchestra. We are now looking into getting private lessons. She really loved it. This is her end of the school year concert. She did a great job!

Here's Sarah with Baxter, the dog, spending more time sitting on the couch than usual as she is fighting off the 1st trimester sickness, that has sadly gone 2 weeks into the 2nd trimester too, so far. Baby #5 due September 18, 2009. Cute little 12 week picture! The baby was rolling all over the place. I'm going to a new doctor here. I'm hesitant about it. There are no midwives up here, so I had to choose a doctor. We'll see how it goes. More to come...

Here's Jared humoring Rex's sticker artistry.

Jared's 33rd birthday. We went up the canyon and roasted hotdogs, and then came back home for texas sheet cake and ice cream!

Here's the garden we grew. We didn't get to eat any of that corn because we didn't harvest it soon enough. It was tough and nasty! We'll try again this year. We loved the zucchini and the tomatoes. Jared loved the peppers.

This is our trip to Bear Lake and to Minnetonka Cave. We went to the cave first, and then down the canyon to Bear Lake. It was a blast! All within 1 hour of where we live! Doesn't get much better than that!
