Vacations...
Hubby and I are beginning the process of planning a Southern California vacation. We'd like to go to Disneyland a couple of days and the beach for a day. Vacationsmadeeasy.com and getawaytoday.com have some good deals. I wouldn't call them great deals, and I'm continuing to look for a great deal. If you have any suggestions, send them my way. I'd grately appreciate it! If not, I'll update you if I find any.

Hubby and I did getawaytoday.com last year. We really liked it. Most of our savings came from other choices. For example, we planned our menu and took most of our food from home. We bought things like matching t-shirts (that I wanted for viability mostly) at home and gave them to the kids as Christmas presents. We gave the kids a bag of goodies from home too, like sun glasses and chap stick, and a notebook and pen) all from home. We gave the kids a budget and allowed them on souvenir our last day at Disney Land. We walked to the park from our hotel instead of taking a shuttle.
