It has been a busy week. Yesterday we spent most of the day watching Rex and Joseph play their football games. Both of their teams lost. Rex hardly played because his team is so large and the coaches already have their favorite kids to play. Joseph's coaches are upset with his performance during practice that they took him off of the defense and only had him play offense yesterday. Jared was pretty upset by this. Joseph has started saying that he wants a break from football and doesn't want to play next year. Football is a huge time commitment and I wouldn't mind the break myself.
Our first week of home school has been fruitful. The kids are happy and so am I. I have been studying more of H. Verlan Andersen's writings and feeling more and more happy that we are doing what we are doing with the kids' educations.
We love the neighborhood we live in. We love our neighbors. We love our Ward.
